Makes 2 pecan pies (without using Corn Syrup)
-
1 stick melted margarine
-
1 box light brown sugar
-
Splash of milk to moisten (1 Tablespoon approximately)
Stir together until no lumps
-
1 teaspoon vinegar
-
Dash of salt
-
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix with sugar mixture until well blended
-
4 slightly beaten eggs, add to the sugar mixture
Don't overmix but stir until well blended
-
1 - 1 1/2 cups Priester's
pecans pieces
Pour into 2 regular pie shells and bake at 350 degrees for 30 - 40 minutes
until the center is set. DELICIOUS (You will note that this recipe doesn't
use syrup and it is delicious and a perfect consistency)
