Makes 2 pecan pies (without using Corn Syrup)

  • 1 stick melted margarine
  • 1 box light brown sugar
  • Splash of milk to moisten (1 Tablespoon approximately)

  • Stir together until no lumps

  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • Mix with sugar mixture until well blended

  • 4 slightly beaten eggs, add to the sugar mixture

  • Don't overmix but stir until well blended

  • 1 - 1 1/2 cups Priester's pecans pieces
Pour into 2 regular pie shells and bake at 350 degrees for 30 - 40 minutes until the center is set. DELICIOUS (You will note that this recipe doesn't use syrup and it is delicious and a perfect consistency)
