Sugar and Spice Candied Pecans

  • 3 cup Priester's natural pecan halves
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom
  • 1/2  teaspoon fresh grated nutmeg

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter large cookie sheets. Heat melted butter, water and sugar in a saucepan until sugar is dissolved. Add spices and pecans, stirring 3-5 minutes or until pecans are well-coated. After cooling, store in an airtight container.
