I ordered this jelly because my book club was reading a book that mentioned it and I had no idea what a mayhaw was. This jelly was wonderful! It's not too sweet, not too tart. It was perfect. It is now my favorite jelly above all other fruit spreads.

The mahaw jelly barely tasted like the mayhaw jelly I grew up on. The one I grew up on was much linker because it had much more juice in it. I won't be ordering any more.

My mom used to make Mayhaw jelly when I was in high school. It's been many years since I had some, and I've been looking for it online for a while. When I discovered that I could get it through Priester's Pecans, I was very happy. It tastes just like I remember! Thank you so much!
