As a celiac, I have to bake my muffins, cakes, and cookies with special flours. We enjoy nuts and I use the Priesters Medium Pecan Pieces as they are a perfect size. Both my husband and employees asked if I was using different pecans as these muffins are delicious!

Your nuts are the best! Just wish they were less expensive. Miss the orange pecans and the one pound bags of the 4 flavors of rum, orange, frosted and cinnamon in one set. #192. I noticed that the roasted salted mammoth pieces were smaller pieces than last years. Wish they all still came in the plastic bags with ties rather than these currant sealed bags. Cheaper packaging was good for me.

When I was a kid during World War II, my mother would take me to Woolworth's to buy me some nuts. We were a bit poor, so I usually ended up with 1/4 pound of Spanish Redskin Peanuts, but on occasion, I could have Roasted and Salted Pecans.
As a treat for my parents when I was in my 40's, I would send them a Priester's assortment, and in my 60's, my Aunt who was in her 90's would send me an assortment from popular Priester's, which I loved.
The purchase I'm reviewing now was a 2-Pound Economy Bag of Roasted and Salted Pecans, which I bought just for myself, since I live alone. Every day I grab a handful, and after two weeks, I have 1/3 still left. But I never tire of them while watching TV because they are both salty and sweet as well as healthy. Priester's is THE classic, just as I remember my first pecans when I was 4 years old. Their tins are beautiful, and well received by my friends and relatives, but for me, there is no runner up for roasted and salted. Even Walmart's doesn't have them, only raw..
